Founder, President & CEORussell J. Gullo, CCIM is the Founder, President & CEO of R. J. GULLO COMPANIES, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and works with clients throughout the firm’s real estate investment services. With more than forty-five years of experience in the real estate investment industry, he has structured thousands of successful transactions and is recognized for his expertise in 1031 Exchanges. He helps clients and their professional advisors develop and implement real estate investment strategies across all the firm’s service lines, including 1031 Exchanges, multifamily investment brokerage, management-free real estate investments, and real estate investment consulting. His work also includes real estate investment analysis, valuation, acquisitions, and dispositions. An instructor for the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS (NYSCAR) on 1031 Exchanges and a former adjunct professor at Canisius College, he taught Real Estate Investment, Real Estate Taxation, and 1031 Exchanges. He is a frequent guest speaker at real estate, legal, and accounting conferences nationwide, has authored hundreds of articles on real estate investment topics, and hosted the Real Estate Wealth Building Strategies radio program. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Canisius College and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York. He is a member of the CCIM Institute and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He was the first inductee into the Exchangors Hall of Fame, was featured in Who’s Who in Creative Real Estate, and received the Most Informative People in Creative Real Estate award.
